This is another wine we sampled while we were at Millcroft Inn. This wine is quite dark in color. On the nose are some lovely dark cherries. On the mid pallet, yummy, this is a classic California fruit forward, almost jammy cab. Lots of cherries, casssis etc. Not too sweet at all. On the finish this wine is extremely well made. It is smooth with some tannins there but not out of control, well balanced alcohols, and no tartness what so ever. Very nice. I would give this one a 91 and it would be one of the nicest cabs I have had in a while!
Here’s another lovely picture from the Inn:
