I last wrote up the 2007 release of this wine. They have been consistently making this wine year after year. The wine is golden in color with a nice varietal chard nose. On the mid pallet are some lovely green apple, and some caramel flavors. This is a spot on varietal chard albeit milder. Slightly creamy, slightly buttery. The wine is medium in finish and the tartness builds nicely in the mouth. We enjoyed it with a pan fried cod and it went VERY well. I would give this one an 89-90. Very nice, especially for the money. Yum.

Tasting Note
Straw coloured with a green tint. A nose of apple and vanilla oak with hint of forest floor. Medium-bodied, Burgundian-style, dry, apple, peach and pineapple flavours nicely dressed in spicy oak; lovely mouth feel and lingering flavours. Score – 90.
