Peter Lehman Clancy’s Red mini review

Another one I tasted this one at the Toronto Wine and Spirits festival. Inky dark in color with black berries coming through on the nose. On the mid pallet this wine is dominated by deep rich black berries to match the nose. Blueberries almost to the point of jam but not that sweet. The wine is medium in length on the smooth finish. There’s some pepper coming through from the Shiraz that’s blended in this one and some nice dryness as well. It builds very nicely in the mouth. I would give this an 89-90. Unfortunately I did not take note of the year I tasted 🙁 This wine is a blend of 39% Shiraz, 38% Cab Sauv and 23% Merlot.
