Dark in color with a mild nose. On the mid pallet are some light varietal cab franc flavors with some red cherry flavors. On the lighter side of medium finish the wine displays some subtle tannins and some nice dryness. This is a lighter, gentler cab franc typical of Niagara on the Lake cab francs. I would give it an 88 or so. Not available in the LCBO $22.95 at the winery. We paired it with a BBQ salmon and it went quite well. We bought this at their wine store and it seems it’s so new it isn’t even listed on their website.
