Slightly golden in color. On the front of the tongue there is a hint of effervescence. On the mid pallet the wine has some mild Riesling like sweetness, some honeysuckle. On the finish the wine has some minerality along with some mild acidity. It’s quite food friendly. Not one of the best GRÜNER VELTLINERs I’ve had but still not bad. I would give it an 88. Not available in the LCBO unfortunately.
The winery’s website says “Fine green pepper and mineral spice flavours, bouquet of fresh fruit with delicate nuances of grass; loess soils.”
