Every now and then I enjoy some bubbles with my meal. I often reach for a prosecco but decided this time to try a Cava. Cavas like prosecco are inexpensive fine bubble sparkling wines. This one is pale in color with a lovely minerally nose. On the mid pallet the wine displays some lovely minerality along with some nice citrus notes, think lime. The bubbles are nice and fine make this a very food friendly wine. On the medium length finish lime lingers nicely. I would give this an 88-89. A very nice wine indeed. There is no year on the bottle so I would guess this is a non-vintage product meaning there are likely grapes from more than one year.
