Elderton High Altitude Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Happy Father’s day all!
Ink dark in color with a black berry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some bold rich black cherries to match the nose, slightly sweet. On the finish the wine displays some nice firm acidity and tannins. I would give it an 88 or so.

From the LCBO web site:

Bright crimson-magenta; cassis fruit strikes first on the bouquet and palate, then more savoury characters come through, part tannin-derived, part from oak.
