Pale in color with a lovely varietal chard nose. On the mid palate the wine displays traditional apple and pear notes. On the medium length finish there are some nice smooth vanilla and oak notes. This is barrel aged but the oak is by no means over the top. A lovely well made Niagara on the lake chard from Magnotta. I would give it an 88 or so … We paired it with some pan seared scallops and it went well!
