Another one from the Chilean wine fest … Dark in color with a nice cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with bold, rich cherries coming through. On the medium length finish the wine displays some lovely smooth tannins and nice acidity. I would give this an 88+. One of the stars of the show. Sadly, not in the LCBO. @27.95 a bottle from Rare Earth wines.

Tasting notes
BEAUTIFUL, BRIGHT RED COLOR WITH BRICK-LIKE NUANCES. DELICATE VIOLET, RED FRUIT, PEPPERMINT, HAZELNUT AROMAS WITH A DELICATE HINT OF FINE WOOD. BLACKCURRANT AND DRIED FRUIT ON THE BACK. ALL THESE ELEMENTS COMBINE TO PRODUCE A WINE OF DEEP COMPLEXITY. GENTLE, CLEAN AND LAYERED MOUTH FEEL THAT GRADUALLY UNVEILS ITS ELEGANCE. A WINEMAKER’S PRIDE THAT BOASTS DELICIOUSLY ROUND AND SEDUCTIVE TANNINS.
