Dark in color with a mild black cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with black cherries coming through. On the medium length finish the wine displays some firm tannins and acidity. If your looking for a soft merlot, ehhhh look elsewhere. This is more of a cab than a merlot. I would give it an -88. Not a bad wine, but not a merlot IMHO.
