Dark in color with a nice dark cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice rich, bold dark cherries. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice pepper notes, along with some firm tannins and acidity. I would give it an 88 or so … We paired it with a striploin and it went well. This is a sneaky-serious wine, one that is at first floral, inviting, approachable and fun, then reveals a gorgeous layered complexity and a long, satisfying finish.
