Garnet in color with a nice, soft red berry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays nice, varietal, fruit forward raspberry and rustic notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some bold black pepper along with some reasonably smooth tannins and firm acidity, nice and dry. This is a nice juicy pinot. We paired it with grilled salmon and trout and it went perfectly. I would give it an -88. From the LCBO web site, check stock:

Crafted in an almost European style, this offers wonderful earth and cherry tones with a unifying smoke note throughout.
