Dark in color with a mild dark berry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some vibrant black plums. On the medium length finish the wine displays some soft tannins and acidity. This is definitely a softer, gentler fruit forward Merlot. Be careful what you serve it with, we had a tomato based pasta and it pretty much overwhelmed the wine. I’d give this an -88.
