I love Vermentinos but sadly we don’t get a lot of them in Ontario. This one is pale to slightly golden in color with a nice crisp dry nose. On the mid palate the wine packs some lovely tart green apples along with some citrus notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice vibrant acidity and the citrus notes and acidity stick around nicely in the mouth. On the tongue there’s a hint of effervescence. This wine is quite tasty with enough oomph to hold it’s own with some lively food. I would give it an 88 or so. I can imagine this easily keeping a couple years. Yumm ..
