We were down in the area birding and decided to stop in here for a tasting … Was so not disappointed. Staff were excellent and the wines were enlightening … This Sauv blanc is pale straw in color with a nice grassy nose. On the mid palate the wine displays nice grassy notes along with some nice citrus, lime notes. On the medium length finish the citrus notes and acidity dance on the tongue. This wine is towards a New Zealand style Sauv blanc with none of the sharp edgyness … Maybe not as elegant as say a Touraine but good none the less, especially given the price, I would give it a -88 and we bought two!
