Croix de Marsan Blanc 2023

Pale straw in color with a mild citrus and minerally nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice smooth citrus notes, nice minerality … On the medium length finish the wine’s citrus notes dance nicely on the tongue and the lovely dryness coats the palate. There’s a nice oily/floral note that noticeable as well. This wine is a a sauvignon blanc/semion blend, smoother more elegant sauv blanc then say an edgy one … This is a lot more to my style these days and this wine punches way above it’s price point, but, be sure and not buy much, this is most definitely a drink now style of wine, I would give it a -88 … It’s a bargain and I’ll be going back to get more!
