Right out of the bottle this wine has some very interesting colors, it’s just so red, vs more rose … On the nose the wine displays some candied fruits … On the mid palate the wine displays some ripe strawberry (my GF got some cranberry) notes along with some sweetness, not over the top or anything but noticeable. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice vibrant acidity. This is made by Stoney Ridge Winery in Vineland. I would give this an 87-88. If you have an open mind on what a rose ought to be, it would be a good choice, food friendly, and refreshing for a patio sipper. From the LCBO web site, check stock:
