Garnet in color with mild rustic nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice vibrant rustic notes, dried raspberries and the like, all red fruits. On the medium length finish the wine is nice and dry with smooth tannins that coat the palate nicely. The wine really punches above it’s price point. It’s not as long in the finish or as much bite as some but for the price this is a really good wine, yumm. I would give it an -88 or so … Check stock, from the LCBO web site:

This Pinot is sourced from vines grown in pebbly, limestone-rich, calcareous soils and offers red fruit, forest floor, smoke, and a generous, food-friendly texture. It will cellar for 5-7 years from vintage and pair well with lamb or duck.
